I started collecting 1:24 scale models when I was a young boy ('86). I only collected road-going versions. My passion for collecting was sparked by my uncle's collection of trucks; standing in front of his display cabinets, I thought to myself, "I want that too." However, instead of trucks, I ended up collecting Ferraris. My love for Ferrari was inspired by my neighbor, who owned a Ferrari 328 GTB at the time. The combination of both factors formed the basis of the collection.

A few years later, I bought my first 1:18 scale model ('94)—a 456 GT that I still own—and I thought it was fantastic. I quickly decided to continue collecting in this scale. The collection was put on hold for a while between 2000 and 2006. I picked it up again in 2006. A few years later, I decided that a Ferrari collection is not complete without race cars ('09). From that moment on, I added race cars to the collection. Initially, I focused on budget brands like Bburago and Mira, but later I increasingly purchased high-end models (Especially from 2009 onwards). Over the years, I replaced many of the models as their quality improved. The result is a magnificent, extensive collection featuring primarily high-end models from brands such as BBR, CMC, and Tecnomodel. The collection has been growing for about 40 years now, and I hope to continue collecting for a long time to come.
