The Ferrari 365 GT/4 BB Competizione is an extremely rare sight. Unlike its successor (the Ferrari 512 BB LM, developed specifically for the track), Ferrari never officially produced the 365 variant as a race car; Enzo Ferrari believed the car was intended purely for the road. Nevertheless, a legendary racing version emerged thanks to iconic privateer teams. The most famous and significant example is chassis number 18139, converted by Luigi Chinetti’s renowned N.A.R.T. (North American Racing Team).
