250 Testa Rossa PF (1957)
The earliest and most famous examples are distinguished by their unique bodywork, designed by Scaglietti. This design is known as "pontoon-fender" styling. The front fenders were separate from the bodywork surrounding the nose; this was not only visually spectacular but also provided crucial cooling for the drum brakes. In later variants, this design was modified to improve high-speed aerodynamics.
