Testarossa 1st ed. (1984)*
The very first series was delivered with just a single exterior mirror, mounted high on the driver's-side A-pillar. Ferrari did this because the designers believed the wide rear end would completely block rearward visibility. Due to changes in European regulations and complaints regarding blind spots, Ferrari switched to two traditional, low-mounted mirrors in 1986. It is estimated that only around 1,000 *Monospecchio* models were produced.
